Wonder if you guys can help me. Had some work done in the house, and one of the lovely builders made a big hole in one of the CH pipes.

Long story, all sorted, and the system is filled again, however, no treatment was put into the system, just mains water.

Its a combi system, with, 7 Rads.

This may be stupid, but where to I add the inhibitor, and do you recommend a type?

I always use Sentinel X100, but Fernox is good as well.

Depending on the type of radiator bleed valves, you could drain 1 rad and add it via this, or drain the system, remove an upstairs rad valve from the pipe and add via the open pipe.

Alternatively you could purchase a concentrated form of the inhibitor and add via the actual bleed screw being removed and the inhibitor being injected in.
