Change a shower thermostat

Hi all i need to change the thermo on a tower panel shower as it will only turn in one direction.
Its called a milano baya and i cant finf any specs or spares sites on the web.
I have tried to see if i can remove it but it doesnt give. So i wanted some advice please.
A. It is anti clockwise to undo?

B see photo of front and back. Do i need to unscrew the 2 small screws first as they dont want to budge either?

C there is what seems to be a spring clip that will rotate but not prize off. At least not easily.

D i assume it unscrews from the front and i dont need to replace the large brass bit seen in back?

im hoping to remove and find a serial or can find a replacement.

I would say the 2 screws on the chrome shroud undo, then anti-clockwise to undo

Have you seen the cost of those? Personally I’d be ripping it out for a bar mixer or equivalent

1. As CBW says, remove the two screws, then remove that chrome shroud.
2. The valve may unscrew. If so, almost certainly anti-clockwise.
3. However, if it is the one CBW illustrates, it looks like a push fit one, in which case do NOT attempt to unscrew.
4. Once you have the shroud off, you may find:
4a. If push fit, the valve may just pull out. OR
4b. If push fit or screwed in, it may be it is secured with a grub screw through the underside of the body of the shower.

Last resort as the pipes are about inch apart which means tiles off and wall as i cant get to.

The bloody small screws wont come out and just chewed up. Lumbered now
