Hi,

I hope someone can help us. We are changing our bathroom suite and have just replaced the bath mixer tap with shower. The one we had before was really good, although old and the shower was powerful.

We have replaced the tap and now find that the shower is merely a dribble even though it says that the tap is suitable for low pressure water.

If we need to buy a separate shower, what should we get and will they give the same results :? I'm not sure on the differences between a thermostatic shower and an electric one. Also does anyone know why it was okay before :?:

Thanks

you say you changed a bath mixer for a shower type, is the rest of the taps ok and do you only get a trickle from shower head whilst up on wall?
Do you have tanks in loft with hot water cylinder?possible air lock?

Hi, yes the cold water feed is in the lost and the hot in the adjacent airing cupboard, the taps work okay it's just the shower attachment :? As mentioned, the old mixer tap/shwoer attachemnt were fine.

There has been some change, the hot water is coming through the taps and the shower okay, the cold is coming through very slowly (tap and shower). Plumbers merchant has suggested we may have a faulty tap?
