Hi

I've bought a bungalow which has it's garage door painted yellow, what's the best way to cover the yellow so that I can paint it cream? I want to do the least coats of paint as possible as it already feels to be a heavy door.

I would replace it but finances are running a bit thin for the time being!

Thanks

Simon

Do as it says on the Tin, a couple of coats of a good quality off white oil based undercoat followed by a coat of Cream Gloss finish.

Looks like you will have to do the Barge boards as well !!

Well I used Dulux Professional White Undercoat and am just amazed at how well it has covered such a bold colour.
