Hi All,
I bought a number of painted internal doors from B&Q. I thought by buying pre-painted i would save time.....but they had marks on them so i ended up patch painting anyway with a Dulux non-drip pure brilliant white paint.
Within weeks the bits i have painted have yellowed and the doors look awful! We do not smoke and the yellowing is on both sides so i dont think its a lack of sunlight issue.
Now some other doors that were not pre-painted, i used the same paint all over and they are fine.
Could it be that the Dulux paint has reacted with the pre-painted doors? If yes - what do i do because if i paint the whole door, it will all yellow!
The paint can says its solvent based.
Any ideas???
Cheers
Matt
