Changing integral timer on Potterton Pro Max Plus

i recently had a boiler installed.

The integral timer is a 24 hour analogue jobby.

Is it a easy job to swap over to a 7 day digital timer?

The Grasslin timers seem to be the most popular, circa £40 new.

Would a Diehl 884 timer also work too?
