check valve & service valve

I know that I must have check valves on my bathroom re-fit for shower (cold mains electric) and H&C combi-fed mixer taps. Should these be double or single valves. Should I fit service valves as well?

I've looked for a similar post unsuccessfully so apologies if I'm re-inventing the wheel here. I'm rapidly becoming a DIYnot addict!

yes you should, all new installation must have isolators on them, makes sense as well when you think of it dont it?
