Chimney Flue Liner Puncture!

hello all - I have managed to puncture a 20p sized hole in the size of my wood burner flue liner - which sits inside of my chimney stack. Any recommendations around how to repair - I have full access as the puncture is a result of creating a hole in the chimney stack to repair the bricks.

Wonder if metal tape would do the trick or whether there are alternative approaches.
