Chimney style cooker hoods - good and bad makes?

After many smokey days in my kitchen I have funally got round to buying an extractor for my kitchen.

I'm after a black 110cm chimney style one and have been pretty astounded by the high costs!

My choice of makes are:

Stoves, Rangemaster, Belling and TurboAir (looks lie a rip off of Belling)

They are all between £300 and £350.

Are they all OK or any to avoid?

Any places recommended to buy?
