chirping from loft water tank

hello

usually in the winter months our loft water tank makes a chirping noise every 30seconds and it doesn't stop. it happens throughout the day and is really annoying and affecting my sleep.

ive been up in the loft and and there are no animals up there.

the noise is one chirp about every 30 seconds in the loft.

any help would be great as its getting really annoying

birds dont sleep during daylight hours, but, it would appear you do.

have you checked your smoke detector batteries?

try jiggling the float on the ball-cock in the tank.

If it is worn or sticky and makes a noise, just buy a new one.
