chlorinate

Hi all
just done a site that is a block of flats
i have a 2 cubic meter tank with a pump set to supply the mains water ( why its on a tank i don't know but thats the design )
i got to chlorinate the tanks but i have never done a mains tank
it there any difference in what needs to be done

Have you done it? or have you got it to do?

How you going to stop residents drawing water of whilst you do the job and how you going to draw off after job done?

How you going to ensure the resident dont get chlorinated?

It's a new block not done it yet
doing it tomorrow
I have not handed it over to the builders yet.

Erm arnt you meant to know this when you tender for the job?

You could always hire in a subby that does know what they are doing, your public liablity may not be worth much if it goes wrong and you didnt know/not qualified as to what you were doing.

Wouldn't catch me arsing about with Chlorine on a multi occupancy dwelling without the right quals.

Nasty stuff it be. Causes havoc with copper if it gets where it ain't supposed to be.

Have a read of this but as said you would be better leaving it to some one with experience.
