I have a small amount of exterior woodwork to paint. Some has been taken back to bare wood where it was badly flaking. The job is small, so want to use up some paint I have left over from other jobs. I have two different tins of primer/undercoat, and was looking for advice on which was better to use, or whether it makes anydifference.

Top coat will be Albany Gloss Brilliant White. My two options for primer/undercoat are Albany Acrylic Primer Undercoat and Albany Super Primer Undercoat.

I also have a quantity of Dulux Weathershield Preservative Primer. Is there any advantage in using that before the Albany undercoat?

Thanks

The Dulux primer you linked will dry off in a week or so then you need to use your acrylic primer and top coat. Be fine.

If I was doing as a job then I'd use coverstain as the primer
