Hi,

I've been looking at what's available on line and have got myself rather confused. Considering energy usage and light output, should I choose a fitting with GU10 led holders or ES holders? If I choose the ES ones I could use LED or ordinary bulbs as necessary.

The light bar will be in my bedroom, with a area of about 3mx3m to be lit. Quite what size lamps I will need I can't work out.

Hope someone can help, please,

AndyPRK,
Yes, this slowly dawning on me. I'll put up a good central light and then see just how much more I'd need by way of table lamps, etc.
Thanks for posting helpfully.

Thanks for you help.

I think ppl with tell you spot lights on a bar don’t do a good job of lighting a room.
This.

Only to be fitted if you enjoy a narrow beam of light shining directly into your eyeballs & casting shadows everywhere.

A standard pendant light is a much better option in most circumstances.
