I'm just reviving this old thread to see what people's opinions are now.
Lots of negative views of combis but the thread was from 2004. Are they still considered as unreliable these days? Have there been any new models recently that improve reliablility?
I still want to switch my conventional for a combi, for the instant hot water and space-saving but al the talk of unreliability is puting me off,
