Hi,

Re-doing my house bathroom and need a little advice on type of shower.

I currently have (but will be replacing) an Aqualiser manual shower which is OK (ish) but when I fitted a Thermostatic cartridge it gave a really slow flow so I went back to the original manual.

My options are manual again, thermostatic plus pump or venturi (trevi boost type).

The system is gravity fed, currently on tank fed cold but could change to mains quite easily. Trying to do the shower bit of the project for around £400.

Don't want a massively powerful shower but ideally looking for an improvement over the Mira 10.8kw electric that I have in our 2nd bathroom.

Any help and advise on type of shower and brands to buy/avoid will be greatly appreciated. :)
