I hope this is in the right place and someone can advise.

I have 2 sets of christmas lights, both with the same connector type however one controller can 'remember' the last setting and one cannot.

I want to swap the controllers over so the more important one stays as it should be on the 'remembered' setting.

Anyway, I have looked at the labels and am not 100% sure they are OK to swap.

Here is a photo of the 2 different controller labels. Am I OK to swap these over?

It may be OK

It may not.

It depends

Is the polarity of the connector the same?

There's only one way of finding out

It may work

You may need to buy two new sets of lights.

Let us know how you get on ;)

The best way to control christmas lights is the following;

Before someone switches them on, hold a shot gun to them and ask them to think again before throwing that switch.

Bah Humbug!
