Chrome loading/hanging issue

My misses has an issue when loading chrome on the laptop.
We have two accounts on the laptop, one for me (mine loads fine) and when or my dearest (hers just hangs and does not load and the timer loading wheel just keeps spinning) What is the method to resolve this issue? Ideally without having reinstall chrome!
It is run by Window 8.1

Well you know what women are like for hanging about when shopping!
Seems to be common on chat rooms with no simple fix.
How about simply creating another account, making sure it has full user rights.
