Chrome Tap Ring

Bought a new basin tap which is 45mm in diameter at the base. Problem is, the existing hole is just over 45mm and I need a ring to widen the base. A tap in another toilet has the same tap but has the ring I have in mind. I've attached an image and hope that someone could tell me where I could obtain such a ring.

No luck. Any of the DIY stores or plumbing centres sell these?
