Cistern has been v. slow to fill up (10mins) although will flush properly when full. There is a plastic type tube thing in it, that has somehow become split, any ideas?
Thanks!

Assume it does, it's just like a thin plastic sleeving attached to the ballcock housing, think it must fill up, but ours has hole in!

Wander round your local Diy "shed" and look @ the plumbing section....recognise anything from the cistern :?: Buy and replace in cistern..keep reciepts and get refund for unused parts  Your Moniker sounds Teutonic.......but you don`t seem very organised  Too much Schnapps :?: ;) You need a new Float valve...the hole in the plastic tube is a red herring

Thanks Nige, think will be paying visit to B&Q tomorrow, obvioulsy looks like all the bavarian dancing and schnapps went to my head last night!

You need a low pressure valve seating/ orifice which you should get from a plumbers merchants.

Probably charge you as much as a new siphon.
