Citroen Dispatch keyfob not working...

Hi all,

My 3 button keyfob had died. I've changed the battery and followed the reprogramming instructions in the manual, but it still wont work.

Don't know if this is relevant but it does work if I have the keyfob right next to the ignition. Any further away and I get nothing.

Any thoughts?

Try another new battery and make sure the contacts in the fob are clean.

Took it to a dealer today, they tried another battery - no joy.

They said it will be £150 for a new one

Are there no other avenues I can go down before I hand over the cash?

yeah buy 1 from ebay,do you know anyone who is into electronics as it could well be a dry solder or a crack on the pcb itself.

yeh i've already seen the £12 fobs on ebay, but thought these were just the plastic shells?

I've looked over the PCB and it all looks intact
