Hi,

You could try a mild abrasive cleaner, like Spotless, and work with one tile at a time. I clean newly built houses and regulary have to put up with lazy tilers (not saying you are lazy!). Sometimes we use very fine sandpaper for small areas with lots of water, but it depends if your tiles are matt or shiny. Also a window scraper may work, but use it lightly!

Hope this helps.

dilute brick acid start at about 5to 1 and if that doesn't shift it try a bit stronger, make sure you rinse it well as the acid may continue to eat away at your grout
