I am installing a cloakroom under my stairs. Two of the walls are plastered, with the basin being fitted on one wall. The third wall has the wall hung toilet on a Grohe frame and needs plasterboarding or Wedi board. The fourth wall will be plasterboard or wedi board as well.
As there will not be huge amounts of water, do I need the wedi board?

At the moment, these are my favourite tiles.

Will they be ok to fix to the plasterboard or wedi?
Do I go for floor or ceiling tiling or to dado height?

You certainly won't be getting enough water to use wedi board. The only place i'd consider concrete board rather than plasterboard is behind the sink and for the toilet wall more for fixings rather than moisture.

But again you shouldn't be subjecting the tiles and wall to any prolonged wetting so plywood or timber blocking and plasterboard over the top will be just fine.

Wedi board is designed for wet rooms, showers and beside baths, where grout joints crack over time.

If you go floor to ceiling you could eliminate your need to skim the wall and to install corner bead around a window.

But the aesthetics may say darker tiles from floor to ceiling in a small room is slightly oppressive.

Good luck

Thank you for your advice. I will use plasterboard.
The tiles I want to use are the white sparkle/glitter version of the pink tiles, until I see another tile I like!!
