Clothes sopping wet from washing machine

I have had the problem of my clothes being sopping wet when being taken from the washing machine.
A bit of disassembly of the washing machine soon found the culprit.
An entire sock in the sump, together with an underwire of a bra and some curtain hooks.

I wish I had a quid for every sock, bra wire and other "foreign bodies" I pulled out of sump hoses and filters in my 2 long years doing white goods....

I once had a customer try and wash her vertical blinds in her machine. She forgot to remove the plastic parts from them... never fear though her machine removed them all without any bother at all....
If you are having socks get into the tub then I recomend you use a laundry bag in future.

Yeah well, I've just heard of a bloke putting his dog through a wash cycle to clean it. Dog died of course - he went to prison!!!!
