clunking sound off hot water mixer tap

hello,slight problem with hot water tap in that it makes a clunk sound when turned off from a main condensing combi boiler,i`m thinking may be loose washers in tap am i on the right lines? does`nt seen to happen on any other tap

Could be a loose pipe, when you turn the tap off the pressure build up can make the pipe move so to give a 'clunk'.
