Our electric water heater is mains fed by a pipe that comes down from the attic.
I want to get rid of it as it trails across the walls of two bedrooms (very old house).

There is a mains pipe in the cellar I can use.

Any problem feeding from below rather than above?

This is the heater. The pressure vessel is a blue one now.

Anyone know the make, btw? No label to be seen.

Thankyou.

Wont show the pic as the album is set to private.

No reason it can't be fed from the mains from below.

Oh! So that's why I've had problems with pics in another forum. Thankyou.
Well, I am a bit of a techno-nitwit.

Should be able to see it now.

Thanks regarding the piping.

Oooh, that shows up better in the pic than it does in the cupbd... it's Steeple.
Is that a make?

Yes it is, it is a rather obscure make though. There will be a data badge on it that will have the make and model on it along with the rating etc.

What do you need to know? It looks like a 2/3kw 10/15L instantaneous hot water heater.

OK.
I mainly wanted to check that it didn't need an upwards expansion pipe.

Thankyou for the tip re Denmans, if ever I need parts.
