cold feed to unvented cylinder

If installing an unvented cylinder and the cold feed enters the cylinder cupboard at low level. Is the only way to pipe it up to run the cold up then back down to the cold feed enter to the cylinder. Thus allowing the required height to install to presure relief, expansion vessel and comp. valve.
 
as 1985 has said you need to have the G3 cert to install an unvented cylinder & as you have had to ask this most basic of question then i don't think you have
