Cold Rad

I changed a single rad to a double in my hall, but now i get no heat in the kitchen, all other rads are fine, no air in rads, any idea why?
Pipes to rad appear warm some way back from rad but cold nearer rad.
If i drain water from the blead screw, the pipes get hot, no air coming out though, stop draining water they go cold again

Almost certainly airlocked. Turn off all other rads and run the heating, should clear it

youve upped the demand, so dare i say balancing.

do all of the other rads get hot all over?

as been said, try turning a couple of rads off, see if the heat comes back.

if it goes again when they are turned back on, its balancing.

yes, turned down some upstairs rads, now appears ok thanks
