Hi. I have had a problem with 3 radiators out of around 10 in my house that have not got hot when the heating is turned on. Havig looked at some of the suggestions on here when other have had similar problems I have established that all 3 come on when other radiators in the house are turned off - they then get really hot. However, when the others are turned back on they cool off a lttle and 2 stay reasonably warm whilst one pretty much cools completely. When the heating goes off and comes on again I then have to go through the process of turning other radiators off to get some heat in these each time.

The pressure in the system seems to be what it should be and all radiators hae been bled and are not currently producing any air (although they id initially when the system was 1st turnded on this winter).

I was hoping someone would know what may be causing this problem. Surely if it was an airlock it would not persist?? Do I need to call a plumber to get it sorted ?!?!?!

Thank you !!

The system need to be balanced. The valve at the other end of the radiators to the ones that you control the temperature with, that get hot needs to be turned dpwn so that the water will be restricted to run to the ones that are cold. I am not a plumber but have had to do this. It is a bit experimental but start by turning the valves down so that only a slight flow is seen so that the other radiators get hot.

I wondered if it might be something along those lines....will give it a whirl! Thank you!
