Cold water storage tank overflow

Can you please tell me how I stop my tank overflowing .

I have a cold water storage tank which feeds the hot water tank , this is in the loft the loft is very low , I have been up and tried to adjust the ball cock but I can't get access to the BC due to low roof .

It was installed so someone got access, if it's really tight , isolate, drain and remove tank to refit new ball cock and then refit.You could use push fit fitting to aid install.
