It would seem these strips of paper/cloth can be sucked through the drum of our washing machine and as a result block the filter now happened a second time.
The big problem is they lodge between the drum and filter so opening the filter drain shows the filter to be empty but on removing the filter when full of water it will force these through with all the water and cause a flood.
If you are able to drain and remove the filter dry they are not in the filter basket so you are unaware they are there it is only when there is some weight of water behind them that they are ejected with all the water.
I have now banned my wife from using these before they get to stage of completely blocking outlet so the washer stops with a warning they stop the rinse water from changing fully so also means cloths will have soap left on them which will cause a Dolby rash.
