Hi - just a quick bit of advice needed please. We have a restored Victorian cast iron fireplace & we're going to make a hearth out of terracotta coloured quarry tiles (6x6). The question is, should we use floor tile spacers or should it be smaller spaces & what colour grout would we use. I'm just not sure which would look most authentic. Cheers v much.
 
If you want authenticity these people should have the answer.



Mind you, I don't recall seeing quarry tiles in a victorian hearth personally.
