columnar radiator - how do you work out their heat output ?

I have a pair of old columnar radiator ( cast iron) and want to work out their output so I can decide how many to use in my lounge - which is 4 metres by 3 metres and the height is 3 metres - it is a terrace house, with a bay window - 240 cm by 176 cm.
