In the last couple of days our boiler has started emitting a whistling noise when the bath hot water tap is running, or when more than one of the other hot taps is running. It makes the noise regardless of whether the boiler is switch on or off.
What's the most likely cause and solution?
The mains water was recently cut off for the road when the water company needed to fix a burst pipe - could this be a contributing factor?
The boiler is a Potterton Promax Combi 28 HE A
