We have an old combi boiler, I believe it's a Baxi boiler probably 10 years old.
It's been working fine all winter, no issues.
Yesterday the heating was on and all was fine, then I noticed a noise coming from the boiler. The best way to describe it is like someone turning their vacuum on and off every 2 seconds. It sounds like something starts- a fan? pump? Then goes off and starts again.
Turned it off and left it for an hour and then it worked fine after that.
Again today though the same thing.
I'll have to get someone out to look at it but can anyone shed any light on what it might be?
I've got a video that I'll try to upload somewhere as it's too large to post here.
Many thanks!
