Hi all,
The water pressure in my combi boiler when the system is off is reading very high on the gauge-some 4 bar. The heating works but the pressure starts to rise into the red, how do I go about lowering it ? Obviously water has to come out, is this done simply through a radiator or from the boiler itself ?
Oh, the house is new as is the heating system- it was reading high when I checked it the other day.

Many thanks.

I had a similar problem a while ago, it turned out to be the filler valve was leaking. I replaced it and it's been fine since.

Switch hot water and central heating off and allow 2 hours to settle.

Check pressure and if required reduce by bleeding water from a radiator
until pressure is about 1.5 bars.

Always check and adjust when system is switched off.
