Combi Boiler & Shower

Yes I will be getting a plumber in at some point once i have worked out exactly what i want to get in the bathroom.

Went to the plumbers shop on saturday and they basically said that there isnt really that much difference in electric vs thermostatic. The only main difference is the obvious 'can have a nice shower when the boiler breaks' but i am not that worried about that tbh.

If i go electric it'll cost me £280 to get the feed up there and £XX to get buy the shower i want. If i go thermostatic it will just cost me the £XX for the shower.

I want to get one of those that are 'hidden' ie just the head and the controls can be seen and also one that has a seperate 'sprayer' (i think that these are called diverters but not sure).

Anyone have any recommendations of a good shower that is thermostatic that would 'do the job'?

Anyone??

I have the electrician coming next week and need to decide whether to spend the £300 odd on getting the feed up there for an electric shower.
I think i have pretty much convinced myself that thermostatic is the way forward for me but need confirmation and a really good shower recommendation (thermostatic) for about £400-500 max
