Help. we have got a Ravenheat White Star 24T that works great until it gets windy. then the ignition/ pilot light switch comes on and the boiler wont work. Any ideas?

I take it that the vent/flue is a straight tube with a cone shaped grill on the end as it comes out the wall of your house.

I have had this problem in the past, there are two things that may help one is extend the flue and fit a 90 degree elbow so it comes out the wall and points up. I have not seen this done so ask or wait for further advice on this one.

The other is a metal housing that has a flat metal sheet approx 12" x 12" unfortunately I don't think I can draw pictures on here other wise I would illustrate. I have seen this, to the sides top and bottom it has a grill bar assembly and fixes to the wall.

basically its designed so the wind does not blow into the pipe and blow out the pilate light.

Look at the manufacturers website for the different flue accessories.
