Hi,

I'm looking for some help to verify the proposed schematic I have attached.

The context is replacing an open vented system in a 60's / 70's house with a combi and UFH. Looking at a Intergas Combi.

Also, if someone could point out how to add a zone for a towel radiator as well please.

If the attached pipework diagram is correct I will add the proposed control & wiring to it for you all to look at and correct me!

Thanks in advance. I like to be well armed in advance of quotes from the builders and plumbers.

Extra zone for towel rail is just using a zone valve in the same way you have
done for the other radiators and underfloor.

I would forget the underfloor. Never seen it work well yet and expensive to run.

Just my few bud.... never had any complaints from my installs.

Although i do go to a fair few that aren't working properly. Problems is once its down and finished the next poor s0d that looks at it has no idea what lies beneath.

Hence I bought the thermal imaging camera.

Me being the poor s0d.

I'll have a look at that boiler.

As a side question.... does anyone know where I can get some software to draw heat schematics properly?

The Viessmann Vitodens 200-W with weather compensation and Sub mounting kit with mixer looks like a rather expensive option.

The boiler is £400 more than an Intergas one and then the Sub-mounting kit is ~£550 and WC unit another £150. nearly £2000 on kit before installation.

What benefits does this give over an Intergas Combi on the setup detailed in the schematic?

Many would fit the towel rail on the boiler output so that its always being heated when any of the zones are active.
