Combi boiler water going hot cold hot cold and so on

its a ferroli modena 80 or 102. i think.
see www.ferroli.co.uk for instructions/download.
shower looks a safety hazzard [possibilty of scalding]exchange it for a permantly fixed thermostatic unit.
see www.screwfix.co.uk part number 48700 enter in search box.[or a similar thermostatic mixer]
you need advice from a corgi registered gas installer who does plumbing.

good luck.

Looks like a Ferroli - possibly Modena.

In which case, it's well known (well - by me, anyway, because i've fixed exactly this fault) for the hot water temperature control to go adrift.

and what may i ask was your fix?.... i'm just weighing up getting whatever is wrong repaired or ditching the lot and getting a new combi with a better flow rate

Replace both the heating and hot water sensors together, normally sorts it.
