Hi, having problems with boiler in new place I've just moved to.
Other day boiler wouldn't fire up due to low pressure. Managed to sort out that issue out but not before I'd accidently fiddled with the CH flow and return valves, forgetting which way they should be turned.
Hot water was working fine, but now the boiler won't completely shut off after the hot water tap is turned off. Pilot light goes out but the fan seems to keep on going and the temperature gauge is more or less at a constant 60c. Have I skewed the balance of water inside the boiler somehow? Should the CH flow and return valves be turned as far anticlockwise or as far clockwise as they can go?
