Combi Bolier Banging

Hello

I've just replaced a radiator and refilled my combi system, the only thing is since doing it everytime I turn a hot water tap on my boiler (Vaillent 828e) makes a thud.

Any ideas.

Are you sure you properly closed the filling valve ?

Yes the fill valve is closed and the system pressure is stable. I have noticed that it only seems to happen when the hot water pre-heat function is on. Does that make any sense.
