Hi

So my Wooshitter (as some of you call it) boiler is playing up again.

Sat here earlier and heard a banging noise, went down to the cellar and noticed the boiler display said U9, which I know means it was kettling at 109C.
We had an issue with this before where the heating and hot water would not function, the boiler would just overheat again and again, in the end the pump got replaced.

This time however it does cool itself down once you switch the heating off. Basically it was at U9, I came upstairs, turned the stat down, went back and it was at 59, suggesting the pump had decided to kick in again. I've left the heating off but the HW is functioning fine.

Any ideas?
