combi question.

Hi folks, I know I've seen this query before but can't find it.

I've got a combi boiler and if the heating is on and I ask for hot water it makes a low metallic groaning noise as if something is struggling to move across. Also if I have the heating off and take a shower the bathroom rad sometimes gets warm. What's on the way out?

Without knowing the make and model of your combi one can only assume it is the diverter valve causing your noise and problems
