Dear all.

I have the existing distribution board and with 3 spare ways. The current distribution board have already supplied the existing load which uses the OLD colour (e.g. L123=Red, Yellow, and Blue, N=Black, E=Green Yellow). I want to add new 3 phase circuits/equipments using the spare ways available in the existing DB. I understand that the Harmonised colour cable must be used in the current installation/circuits (e.g. L123=Brown, Black, Grey, N=Blue, E=Green/Yellow)

I understand that combining two different colours might create confusing as according to the old colour system the neutral (Black) is now becoming live in the new harmonised colour. Similarly in old colour the Blue one which use to be live now become neutral.

How could I do this but still comply with the regulation, any though, solution will be much appreciated.

I have always thought it would be fun to do a version of that sticker with "two versions of BS7671" replaced by "no standard whatsover"
