Hello all, first post, here goes:
I have recently moved into the upper of two flats in a split-up terraced house, and I noticed when moving in that the “unlock” button on the Comelit intercom does not work. After checking the wire itself, my photo below shows that the cause of this is a break in the cable connecting the intercom to the lock. I have the missing piece of wire, and it appears to be 6-core alarm cable (or similar).
Does anyone have any words of advice on if/how I should go about splicing some new 6 core cable to the two stubs and reinstating the unlock feature?
