I purchased Rust-oleum 2 part primer and 2 part top coat coloured to slate finish - it looks amazing. Rolled etc followed instructions. Cost £140 in total.
But it scratches so easily, the chairs have taken a massive scratch. I vacuumed the floor and the one side made a scratch. If I run my finger nail along a scratch it can be scratched further.
Ive been in touch with Rawlins waiting for a reply but this floor has only been down a week and its so scratched you can see the white primer. It seems as though its not set hard. Its no use for our kitchen now Im gutted as Ive painted the kitchen units with Tikkurelia all to fantastic finish.
I can only think of painting another layer over it and getting a top sealer. Im not particularly happy to pay for this as it states that this product is highly scratch & chemical resistant. Alternatively they will have to send a different paint mix (epoxy) and work out some costs.
Any experience with painting floors. It is commercial paint so it should work.
