On the same theme, I am isntalling a water heater which has a pressure relief valve (pressure only, not temperature as not required) which only deals with back expansion in the system so only ever would let out tiny amounts of cold tap water (or lots if the prv failed I guess, but pretty unlikely).
Does anyone know if it is permissible to discharge this into a rainwater stack instead of the soil stack? The only way I can connect to the soil stack gives me a rough connection that is more likely to leak so I'd rather avoid it.
