compatile parts for proton

are there any parts from other vehicles that fit on a proton 1.3gl 1992
the reason i ask is that a while back it took me 3 weeks to get a starter

try mitsubishi's of the same age the likes of the colt, also if i remeber to the last one i struggled for parts with certain suzuki agents were able to get hold of spares for these.
Normally Blueprint do all the parts for the jap/korean motors or failing that with the likes of starters and alternators get them reconditioned

Well, since VW purchased Skoda, most VW parts have been interchangeable with Skodas...

So it would be reasonable to assume that since Proton purchased Lotus, you could fit bits of an Elise onto your car
