Hi,
We are in the process of sourcing a new exterior door after our UPVC got kicked in.
Through home insurance, we qualify for a like-for-like upvc panel replacement however, the surveyor mentioned that composite doors are the way forward. He furthermore added that Yale are the best (not the composites available from his firm)....Is there a difference in qualities?
Also, whilst browsing the web, I came across Just Doors UK. The following style is the one we like:
http://www.justdoorsuk.com/composite...il.asp?ID=1024
£420 - Supply Only.
The Yale website appears to have the same door (6 panel composite) for £865 fitted (no letter plate)
They are both 44mm, Yale Multipoint Hook Locks and appear to be the same.
Question to the experts - Is there any difference between the quality of the composite material between the 2 doors?
One last question - are hardwood doors better than composites?
Thank you.
