Composite door

hi I've a composite door which is around 3 years old.
I've noticed the colour is starting to fade at certain points.
Is this normal? I thought these doors colours didn't fade?
I wouldn't say it gets an awful lot of sun ( I do live in the north east )
Any tips?

If its fading go back to the supplier of the door

Yes. I have come across Lacquer peeling off in the past on Rosewood doors ....admittedly i've never come across one fading but as a supplier/fitter of composite doors I would be challenging my supplier to replace it free of charge
